Let me help get them talking

How It Works

Better conversations in 3 simple steps

Step 1

WHiC AI Voice Chat

Every child communicates differently — from Kindy to Year 12, WHiC adapts to their age, their stage, and gets them to share what really happened.

Step 2

WHIC works its magic

WHIC’s AI combines insights from parents across the class and creates personalised conversation starters tailored to your child’s day.

Step 3

Talk about it at dinner

At 6:07pm, you get tonight’s WHIC — real topics that get your kids actually talking.

FAQ

Questions parents ask

WHIC stands for "What Happened In Class." It's an app that helps parents have better conversations with their kids about school. Parents share quick notes about what their child mentioned, and WHIC turns them into conversation starters delivered every evening.

No time at all — your child just chats with WHiC after school. If you want to add your own notes too, it takes seconds. Something like "they did art today" or "had a spelling test" is plenty.

Your child talks to WHiC through the app — just like chatting to a friend. WHiC adapts to every age level, from Kindy to Year 12, asking the right questions in the right way. It discovers what happened at school, then combines this with insights from other parents in the class to create personalised conversation starters for your family.

Every school day at 6:07pm — right before dinner. You'll get a notification when it's ready.

That's completely normal! Even a simple "my child seemed happy today" or "they mentioned something about maths" helps. The more parents who contribute, the richer everyone's WHIC becomes.

No. Your individual input is never shown to anyone else. WHIC combines all parent inputs anonymously and creates conversation starters from the combined picture. No one knows who said what.

No. WHIC only uses nicknames — never your child's real name. We take children's privacy seriously and follow strict data protection practices.

Yes! WHIC is free to use. We want every family to have better dinner conversations.

Once you join a class, you'll get a share link you can send to other parents via text or WhatsApp. The more parents who join, the better everyone's WHIC becomes.

No. WHIC is 100% parent-powered. Teachers don't need to do anything — parents contribute the moments and WHIC does the rest.

Join the family ritual you wish you started sooner.
